ANATOMIE FLEUR - BERLIN BASED DUO COMPOSED BY AMANDINE CHEVEAU AND JEAN CHRISTIAN PULLIN - TOOK OVER THE BLUE SPACE OF SUNNEI STORE TO DELIVER A SURREAL ONE-OF-A-KIND EXPERIENCE.
JUST LIKE AN IMAGINARY CREATURE RISING UP FROM THE FLOOR, THE INSTALLATION FEATURED A WIDE SELECTION OF DYED FLOWERS* RECALLING THE COBALT SHADE OF THE SPACE.
IN CONTRAST TO IT, A SELECTION OF YELLOW FLOWERS WAS OFFERED TO GUESTS AS THEIR OCCASION TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PIECE BY INSERTING THEM INTO THE ARTISTS’ COMPOSITION.
THIS WAY THE DUO WENT BEYOND THE CONCEPT OF FLORAL INSTALLATION AS DECORATIVE OBJECT, GIVING SPACE TO A MUTUAL EXCHANGE AND TO AN EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR VIEWERS.
THEREFORE, THE PERSONAL TOUCH GIVEN BY EACH AND EVERY GUEST WAS THEY KEY THAT LED TO THE FINAL PIECE.

THE RENOVATED SUNNEI STORE IN MILANO
On October 25th SUNNEI unveiled the renovated store, revealing the “grey room”, the brand’s latest addition hosting the Menswear and Womenswear range of accessories.
Now featuring three areas marked by tones, the store reiterates its value of unique retail space and its purpose for daily visitors and clients to join the brand’s world when stepping in.

INTRODUCING DREAMY SHOES
In conjunction with the launch of the Fall Winter 2019 collection SUNNEI presents its latest shape of sneakers, conceived for both men and women.
The DREAMY establishes the brand’s vision of footwear design featuring an essential outline matched with exaggerated volumes. These formal choices serve as a blank canvas to play with material and colors - from black leather to red suede and beige neoprene - coming as a timeless interpretation of the SUNNEI accessories aesthetic. The balance between effortless and refined characterizes the brand’s ultimate go-to sneakers.
PROTOTIPO 1 SUNGLASSES
As the summer reaches its best, SUNNEI is pleased to present its new collection of sunglasses that strolled down the runway in the Fall Winter 19 Show.
PROTOTIPO 1, the name of the brand’s very first line of sunglasses conceived and developed in- house, stresses the effort of the design team in expanding the product range and focusing on all the details that serve to create the whole aesthetic of SUNNEI.
The unisex square lines and geometric shapes come in six tones that go from transparent caramel to green, havana and solid black. Designed and produced in Italy, the newest sunglasses feature the SUNNEI engraved logo on the right arm and are placed in a transparent capsule with a bubbly filling.
FW19 RUBBERIZED ROUND EARRINGS
From the brightest tone of yellow to the softer cream and the bordeaux finishing, the new earrings are now live on sunnei.it as a part of the new collection preview.
DINNER AT BIANCO SUNNEI
One month after the show, SUNNEI welcomed its network of artists, collaborators, press and buyers to experience the conviviality and the spirit of the brand.
The forty-five metres long table was covered with a unique set of tablecloth and napkins, made out of recycled striped popeline fabric straight from our production.
The chef Anna Velardi, a longtime friend of Loris and Simone, is renowned for her dedication to cooking and for her private dinners set in Milano. The dinner was an occasion to experience both the chef and the brand’s multidisciplinary interests through a sharable menù, complemented by bread from the milanese bakery Forno Collettivo.
Food was the key player of the event along with the flowers, selected and carefully set up by the flower enthusiast Maria Di Battista, part of SUNNEI. The whole team, that had the chance to work on their personal passions in occasion of the dinner, made a special selection of flowers as a unique gift for the guests.
The wine came from Marinferno, a wine producer from Colli Piacentini which exploits traditional vinification processes to make naturally unkempt wines.
An acoustic drum solo performance by Elia Pastori wrapped up the evening.
BIANCO SUNNEI aims to test the limits of urban regeneration in the outskirts of Milano.
The cultural transformation of BIANCO SUNNEI is initiated through the neutralization of space via 4000 square meters of white paint leading to a dramatical modification in the perception of the venue – not only from the outside but also from the inside.
Conceptualising on the rather paradoxical notion of the “open-air gallery”, the space located within the center of the neighbourhood park will remain open and accessible to all under the long-term artistic direction of SUNNEI.
SUNNEI will operate on a multidisciplinary approach working on events, installations, performances and temporary stores in collaboration with creative minds across the city and the globe reflecting the reality within which it evolves.
The project was developed with the patronage of the city of Milano and in collaboration with the Zone 3 of Milano and the neighborhood committee ViviRubattino. The work was co-produced with Linvea and Altrove.

SUNNEI & IL CERCHIO COLORATO
SUNNEI REALISED A SERIES OF WHITE T-SHIRT WITH FIVE EXCLUSIVE GRAPHICS AS A RESULT OF ITS LATEST COLLABORATION WITH IL CERCHIO COLORATO, THE SOCIAL COOPERATIVE BEARING YOUNG KIDS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER. THE ONLUS AIMS TO PROVIDE A SOCIAL NET IN VARIOUS MUNICIPALITY AROUND MILAN, EMPOWERING THE FAMILIES’ AND SCHOOLS’ RESOURCES.
WITH THE PURPOSE OF CONTRIBUTING TO THEIR EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS, LAST MAY THE BRAND SET UP A WORKSHOP THAT TOOK PLACE INTO THE COOPERATIVE SPACE. THE INVOLVED KIDS HAD THE CHANCE TO FREELY PAINT AND DECORATE ONE OF THE KEY GRAPHIC FROM THE SPRING SUMMER 2019 COLLECTION - SHOWCASED AT PALAZZO PIRELLI ON JUNE 2018.
